Having lived and raised our family here for almost 20 years, it is our privilege to share with you all that we have discovered and love about our Hokkaido life.
Ian, originally from the US, brought a lifelong passion for cooking and share good food to the hills of Hokkaido. Noriko, a native of Japan with a deep love for seasonal flavors and community hosting, saw the potential to turn this hilltop into a sanctuary for food lovers.
Together, we built Hokkaidian Homestead to be more than just a farm—it’s a bridge between cultures. Whether we are stoking the fire in the Barn Kitchen, harvesting heritage vegetables, or hosting a jazz night under the stars, our goal is to share the quiet, profound joy of living in harmony with the seasons.
